Pattern Overload!

Hi Gang!

For this card which I thought I would submit for the Waltzingmouse sketch challenge WMSC47 as well as the color challenge from CR84FN28, I decided to go completely pattern-crazy!

For the card I tatted a small medallion from red silk which I cut in half and adhered to the back of the sentiment plaque.  I kinda like how the "J" of "Enjoy" fits the Labels 21 die cut.  The lacy scallops were created by stamping the tatted stamp with Versamark onto yellow cardstock then embossed in red, then punched out each using a 1" punch.  The red plastic mesh on the top of the card came from a sack of potatoes!

Here are the rest of the card deets:
Stamps:  Waltzingmouse Dainty Doilies 2 Small; Off Beat Backgrounds; Rescue Remedies Additions
Paper:  White; Summer Sun (SU, retired), Ruby Red (SU, retired)
Ink:  Versamark; Real Red Craft (SU)
Extras:  Red silt tatting thread; yellow/white gingham ribbon; potato sack.
Tools:  Spellbinders Labels 21 die; craft knife; Stampin Up scallop border punch; Fiskars scallop border punch; 1" round punch; tatting shuttle.

So what do you think, did I go too far over the top?

Thanks for looking!

Cyndie
